A common topic from customers, is getting an idea on how to lose weight. As a holistic practitioner, I look at different probable causes, aside from the famous “diet” we are on. I feel that there are no magic solutions but a combination of lifestyle changes, aside from implementing a “diet supplement regimen”. I base my findings on recent popular research studies out there, based on the era we live in. This article will be several short series, so you can reflect if this cause is for you and what changes can you do to improve this modern age crisis.
In a nutshell, I found numerous probable causes of weight gain in your body fluids, muscle mass, or fat.
BODY FLUIDS: fluid and salt retention, medication interactions, side effects,(both prescribed and non-prescribed), intravenous fluid infusion, or conditions in your kidney and people in heart failure.
BODY MUSCLE/ FAT: Look at your diet, sedentary living or lack of proper exercise for your unique bodily needs. These conditions make your body convert muscles to fat. Some causes that we cannot avoid are hormonal and genetic issues that may need diagnosis and medical/surgical interventions from the medical practitioners.
